Events

Newark & Sherwood Funding Issues Group (FIG) holds events to enable delegates for community and voluntary groups to meet with funders and advisers to discuss their funding needs and how best to address them through an application for financial support.

We have held five events recently:

March 2010 - Awards for All Application Workshop attended by 38 delegates at Kelham Hall
October 2009 - Funding Advice Bus visited Hawtonville, Collingham, Ollerton and Laxton
May 2009 - joint event with the Community Action Network (CAN) finding funding information day click here for slide presentation on changes to Awards for All and presentation on accounting for charitable funds.
October 2008 - Small grants event at Rainworth Village Hall
September 2008 - Funding Advice Bus visited Hawtonville, Blidworth, Southwell and Lowdham.
